Today sightsee the views of the Thimphu valley from BBS Tower, Mini Zoo, Anim Dratshang (nunnery), National Library and Paper factory, Memorial Chorten. Also visit School of Arts and Crafts(former Painting School-2-4 p.m), Zangthopelri Lhakhang, Trashichhodzong (after 5 p.m) & Handicrafts Emporium. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Morning departure for Punakha with sightseeing at Dochula pass(alt.3150m), Punakha Dzong and stroll in the town. O/n in the Hotel Zangthopelri or similar.

Today transfer to Paro via Wangduephodrang. Later spend some leisure time in Paro Town. O/n in the Hotel Olathang or similar.

Today arrive in Paro & transfer to the hotel, followed by overnight stay in the Hotel Motithang or similar.
Day 2

Day 3
Today, transfer to Dochula pass at an alt of 3,150m. After lesiure, transfer to Paro. Enroute visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the Kingdom. O/n stay in Hotel Olathang or similar.
Day 4
Today visit the Drukgyel Dzong. On the way, enjoy the view of Mt. Jhomolhari (7,314m), which remians covered with snow throughout the year. Also visit National museum and Rinpung Dzong. Return to hotel for O/n stay.

Depart for Punakha with sightseeing at Dochula pass (alt.3150 m). Visit Punakha Dzong and stroll in the Punakha town or visit to Khuruthang High School. O/N stay in the hotel.

Day Five: Punakha – Bumthang
|
|
|
|
After breakfast, we drive to Bumthang en route visiting Wangduephodrang Dzong, and cross Pelela pass (3,300m). En route visit Chendbji Chorten and Trongsa dzong. O/n hotel stay.

Day Five: Bumthang - Wangdichholing
|
|
|
|
Today's sightseeing includes visit to Jampa Lhakhang, Kurje Lhakhang, town and local market. O/N stay in Wangdichholing Resort or similar.

|
|

Today visit Chakhar Lhakhang and the Wangdichholing palace near the hotel. Also visit Tamshing Lhakhang, Jakar Dzong, Konchogsum Lhakhang. O/n stay at Wangdichholing Lodge or similar.

Day Seven: Wangdichholing – Punakha

Today's sightseeing includes visit to Punakha Dzong. Transfer to Paro. Stroll in Paro Town. O/n stay in the Hotel Olathang or similar.

|

Visit the Drukgyel Dzong. On the way, view peak of Mt. Jhomolhari (7,314m), which remains roofed with snow throughout the year. Later visit Kyichu lhakhang and national museum. If time permits visit/trek to Taktshang monastery. O/n stay in the Hotel Olathang or similar.
